New Features Released
Our latest feature release (23.0) is now in its “soft release” phase, meaning that all new customers receive this version when they purchase the software. The new features include:
(Stat-Ease 360) Gaussian Process models are now available for responses with noise.
(Stat-Ease 360) A Python script that can perform lifetime analysis with a Weibull fit is available in the Script dialog.
Most tables in the software can now be transposed (switch rows & columns) by right-clicking on the top-left header cell.
Added Lack of Fit and Curvature p-values to the Analysis Summary table.
Excel Import/Export is now available in Design-Expert as well as Stat-Ease 360.
We will send out marketing copy when we are ready for the “grand release” phase, likely in mid-December. Please also keep a lookout for our posts on social media to share.
Annual Support & Maintenance Renewals
When a new “buy-once” license is purchased, one year of Annual Support & Maintenance (AS&M) is included. We currently require the purchase of two more years of AS&M for Stat-Ease 360 licenses (total coverage of three years); the purchase of additional years of AS&M for Design-Expert licenses has not been mandatory.
Customers who do not renew their AS&M plans do not have the same privileges that active subscribers have, such as:
Timely updates, patches, feature releases, and bug fixes for no extra charge. (The new features of release 23.0, such as Excel Import/Export now available in DX, may be of particular interest to customers.)
